It seems my hubby is getting hemorrhoids (Maybe he’s getting them for me so I don’t have to have them lol) and he has a really nasty one is there a way to help it? We don’t have any creams or anything just standard kitchen items.
He wants to know if popping it will make it feel any better?

Do not try to pop it. This will make it much worse. Try (3) twenty minute hot water soaks a day- as hot as he can stand it. He should increase his fiber intake, too. Keep the area dry and wear cotton underwear, not tight. Also try not to sit for long periods of time.

Reports have described shrinking of external hemorrhoidal tissue after PPH, probably from decreased blood flow.

In patients receiving PPH, pain seems to be less severe and of shorter duration than it is in patients who undergo conventional surgery. The use of PPH is suggested in patients with large internal hemorrhoids and minimal external component. This procedure can be done in an outpatient setting with local anesthesia, similar to the protocol used for conventional hemorrhoid surgery.

Operative resection is reserved for patients with hygiene trouble caused by large skin tags, a history of multiple external thromboses, or internal hemorrhoid trouble. Perform the operation in the outpatient setting. Proper anesthetic care, attention to perioperative fluid restriction, and careful postoperative instructions can ease the patient’s recovery.

Patients with ulcerative colitis can tolerate aggressive surgery if it is needed. Treat underlying acute disease before any elective anorectal surgery. I’m 16 and I have a hemorrhoid. I already diagnosed myself (don’t ask..I have this obsession with Grey’s Anatomy and I have like 12 different medical encyclopedias).

Other than hemorrhoidectomy, would remedies used at home remove hemorrhoids? like Prep H or Venapro..

this might sound a little odd its worked for a few people i know. turn on a fan and let blow on it for awhile. and Perp H does help. are you sure its a hemorrhoid and not and infected ingrown hair at 16 a hemorrhoid is not comon i would go see you Doc.

I got them during delivery with my son..just use some Tucks and Prep H and they will go away in no time!
